Jessica Clements is a Jackson Hole artist who has been working in a variety of of 2-D and 3-D mediums, including collage, casting, animal skulls, painting, and bead work, since 2013. Inspired by religious iconography, the wildlife of the American West, and the landscape of her home, Jessica uses her interest in cultural symbolism to explore the role nature plays on human history. Jessica’s use of mixed medias allows her to challenge classic western imagery and probe the concept of animal as both relic and trophy.
Jessica is a graduate of Ohio University with a BFA in Sculpture and a minor in Anthropology. She is originally from Hudson, Ohio.
